  • CLP stands for Classification, Labelling and Packaging. It’s the UK and EU regulation that governs how fragranced products must be assessed, labelled and sold to keep customers safe.

When we say our products are CLP compliant, it means:

    • Every fragrance we use has been assessed in line with CLP regulations
    • All required safety information and allergen details are clearly listed on our labels
    • Hazard symbols, warning statements and usage guidance are included where needed
    • Our products meet current UK legal requirements for sale

In simple terms, CLP compliance ensures that fragranced products are labelled correctly, used safely, and sold responsibly.

  • We recommend using one wax melt segment or around 10–15g at a time, depending on the size of your burner and the room you’re scenting. Always ensure your burner is suitable for wax melts and avoid overfilling the dish.

For best results, allow the wax to fully melt before judging the strength of the fragrance.

Wax melts can be re-burned multiple times until the scent has faded. On average, this is around 8–12 hours of total burn time, although this can vary depending on the fragrance, burner type and room size. Once the wax is fully melted and no longer gives off fragrance, it’s time to replace it with a fresh melt.

Never add water to melted wax. Always allow the wax to cool and harden completely before removing and replacing.

  • Yes. Our wax melts can be used in both electric wax burners and traditional tealight burners, provided the burner is designed specifically for use with wax melts.

When using an electric burner, place one wax melt segment or around 10–15g into the dish and allow it to fully melt before judging the scent strength. Do not overfill the dish.

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your burner. Place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface and keep it away from drafts, flammable materials, children and pets. Do not move the burner while it is switched on or while wax is melted.

  • Our products do not have a fixed expiry date, but like all fragranced items, their scent strength can gradually fade over time. To enjoy them at their best, we recommend storing products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

Any relevant safety information, including usage guidance and symbols where required, can be found on the product packaging. For products that fall under cosmetic regulations, a period after opening (PAO) symbol may also be shown on the label, which indicates how long the product should be used after opening.

If you ever have questions about a specific product or are unsure about storage or usage, please feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
